Meals On Wheels has touched our life personally in Knoxville Tennessee. They were the first to help our Granny Anne who made it home from the hospital for some precious time. We are so grateful for this program and are very active with Meals On Wheels & More here in Austin. Recently people have been donating time and money in the name of Nana Gladys! The most recent donation was from Christine Whelan from Massachusetts who wrote "With her open mind, acceptance, and tolerance of all mankind Gladys is the definition of love."
We asked Nana what she thought of that and she said "Well honey, I sure hope to earn that praise! That Christine girls a peach."
Bryan Piper from Shag Salon in Austin has been a driver/volunteer for several months now and he credits Nana Gladys! Thank you Bryan!!
