Gladys Gossip

Ellen's 1000th show is an amazing milestone and we feel blessed for Nana Gladys to be a part of it! Some of the Hardy Highlights are- Nana was the house announcer for over a month. Gladys has given recipes, relationship advice, movie reviews, answered fan mail, made Oscar predictions, health advice, holiday gift ideas, and critiqued The Bachelor, American Idol, Dancing with the stars and many more. Ellen has said that they have received more viewer mail about Gladys than anything else on the show, and that the first phone call was her personal favorite moment!

You never know how Gladys can inspire people!

Meals On Wheels has touched our life personally in Knoxville Tennessee. They were the first to help our Granny Anne who made it home from the hospital for some precious time. We are so grateful for this program and are very active with Meals On Wheels & More here in Austin. Recently people have been donating time and money in the name of Nana Gladys! The most recent donation was from Christine Whelan from Massachusetts who wrote "With her open mind, acceptance, and tolerance of all mankind Gladys is the definition of love."

Matt Gil (a big fan of Gladys) recently made his debut in the audience at the Ellen show - dressed up in a Gladys Hardy costume! If you missed it, some of the highlights were Nana's opinions about American Idol and how it relates to Bingo. One viewer asked that Gladys be the house announcer for the week, and they let her!
