Ellen's 1000th show is an amazing milestone and we feel blessed for Nana Gladys to be a part of it! Some of the Hardy Highlights are- Nana was the house announcer for over a month. Gladys has given recipes, relationship advice, movie reviews, answered fan mail, made Oscar predictions, health advice, holiday gift ideas, and critiqued The Bachelor, American Idol, Dancing with the stars and many more. Ellen has said that they have received more viewer mail about Gladys than anything else on the show, and that the first phone call was her personal favorite moment!

Meals On Wheels has touched our life personally in Knoxville Tennessee. They were the first to help our Granny Anne who made it home from the hospital for some precious time. We are so grateful for this program and are very active with Meals On Wheels & More here in Austin. Recently people have been donating time and money in the name of Nana Gladys! The most recent donation was from Christine Whelan from Massachusetts who wrote "With her open mind, acceptance, and tolerance of all mankind Gladys is the definition of love."
